CLEAN COAL AND COGENERATION

我們擁有豐富的煤倉建造經驗和技術,協助傳統燃煤電廠規劃、設計、施工、測試、運轉和維護煤倉,以提高電廠的能源效率和安全性,並符合環保法規和社會期待,並且協同各類產業推動汽電共生技術,是一種利用熱機或發電站同時產生電力和有用的熱量,主要概念就是廢熱的回收再利用,以達到熱電共同使用的最佳效益,進一步節省能源成本,提高能源供應的穩定性和可靠性,減少對外部電網的依賴,降低對環境的影響。

With extensive experience and expertise in coal silo construction, we assist traditional coal-fired power plants in the planning, design, construction, testing, operation, and maintenance of coal silos. This improves energy efficiency and safety while complying with environmental regulations and societal expectations. Additionally, we collaborate with various industries to promote cogeneration technology, which utilizes waste heat recovery to simultaneously produce electricity and useful heat in thermal engines or power plants. The primary concept is to optimize the utilization of waste heat, achieving the best efficiency in combined heat and power generation. This further reduces energy costs, enhances energy supply stability and reliability, reduces reliance on external power grids, and minimizes environmental impact.

Hydropower is a method of generating electricity by harnessing the potential energy of water through the drop in water level. The principle involves directing water from a higher source to a lower point, where the flow of water drives a turbine, which in turn powers a generator. We offer various scales and types of hydropower systems to our clients. Based on their specific needs and geographical conditions, we provide services including site selection, design, construction, and maintenance. We allocate research and development resources to innovate and improve in the field of green energy. 打造首部混燒氫氣發電示範機組

BUILDING THE FIRST HYBRID HYDROGEN POWER GENERATION DEMONSTRATION UNIT

混燒氫氣發電是一種能源發電技術,它結合了氫氣與傳統燃料一起使用來產生電力。在這種過程中,氫氣被注入到燃料中,然後共同與傳統燃料(例如天然氣或煤炭)一起在發電廠的燃燒系統中燃燒。

混燒技術的主要目的是減少對環境的影響,特別是降低溫室氣體的排放。相比於傳統化石燃料的燃燒,氫氣在燃燒時僅產生水蒸氣,不會產生二氧化碳等溫室氣體。因此,這項技術被視為一種對氣候變化應對的重要策略。

台電公司選定興達電廠作為混氫發電示範基地,將透過升級改造既有機組,打造國內首部可混燒氫氣的發電機組,預計於 2023 年底正式投入測試運轉,2024年可望提前達標混氫 5% 發電示範。

氫氣技術的發展還在進行中,目前的氫氣生產和供應仍面臨挑戰。混燒氫氣發電被視為過渡階段的解決方案。
The development of hydrogen technology is still ongoing, and the current production and supply of hydrogen continue to face challenges. Hydrogen co-firing power generation is considered a transitional solution during this phase.

我們獲得工程統包的機會,很榮幸攜手參與這個劃時代的發電計畫,透過將氫氣應用於發電廠和其他能源設施中,我們可以逐步建立加氫能源經濟體系,以滿足未來對環境友好型能源的需求。

Hydrogen co-firing is an energy generation technology that combines hydrogen with conventional fuels to produce electricity. In this process, hydrogen is introduced into the fuel stream and co-fired with traditional fuels, such as natural gas or coal, in the power plant's combustion system.

The primary goal of hydrogen co-firing is to reduce environmental impact, especially by lowering greenhouse gas emissions. Unlike the combustion of conventional fossil fuels, hydrogen combustion only produces water vapor, without emitting greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide. Thus, this technology is seen as a crucial strategy in addressing climate change.

Taipower has selected Hsinta Power Plant as the demonstration site for hydrogen blending power generation. By upgrading and retrofitting existing units, the nation's first power generation unit capable of co-firing hydrogen will be created. It is expected to undergo test operations by the end of 2023, with a target to achieve a 5% hydrogen co-firing demonstration ahead of schedule in 2024.

We are honored to be entrusted with the engineering contract, participating in this groundbreaking power generation project. By incorporating hydrogen into power plants and other energy facilities, we are gradually establishing a hydrogen-based energy economy to meet future demands for environmentally friendly energy.

This important first step we cautiously take is the key towards a cleaner, low-carbon energy system.
